Treatment under Sedation

We offer in Dr. Eldad Ben-Elazar’s clinic, dental treatments under sedation accompanied by an anestesia expert. Some people knows calls this general anaesthesia, although there is a difference between the two.

Under sedation the patient can breathe by himself and reacts to calls. He can wake up soon after with no need for hospitalization. Under general anaesthesia, the patient loses the ability to breathe by himself and this procedure requires a day of hospitalization.

When do we offer sedation? When the patient suffers from severe dental phobia and can’t receive treatment regularly.

Dr. Eldad Ben Elazar is a trained professional in treating patients under sedation and general anaesthesia. He was trained for several months in Bnei Zion hospital in Haifa and received a special license for it from the Israeli Ministry of health.
